Kenyan social media users have expressed their reactions after a Safarilink plane veered off the runway at Wilson Airport after its tyre burst on Tuesday evening.
In a series of tweets, the users discussed the matter in a bid to find where exactly the problem was in regard to the recent incidents concerning airplanes in the country.
The incident at Wilson airport came shortly after a Silverstone plane made an emergency landing at Eldoret International Airport when one of its tires fell off mid-air.
A section of netizens claimed poor management at the airport should be blamed for the incident.
They argued that the management should be in charge of ensuring that all planes are in good condition and operational.
A number of users pointed out that the incident witnessed at Wilson airport was as a result of potholes along the runway.
They argued that the Tuesday evening incident should be a wake up call for the management to improve and renovate the infrastructure to avoid similar incidents in future.
Some of the netizens suggested that the airport to be temporarily closed and renovated to ensure safety of passengers.
