Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga on Tuesday held a closed-door meeting with MCAs from Nairobi County Assembly.
Raila's meeting with ODM allied MCAs comes amid changes that were effected by the party last week following weeks of wrangles.
ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna said the MCAs vowed to remain united despite turbulence within the assembly.
"Meeting with our MCAs in Nairobi County to iron out emergent issues within the Assembly. They have vowed to remain united and work to deliver their mandate to the people of Nairobi. #MbelePamoja," he said.
Kileleshwa MCA Elias Otieno was kicked out as the Minority Leader by the party for allegedly supporting ANC candidate Eliud Owalo in Kibra poll.
The party replaced him with Karen MCA David Mberia who served as Majority Whip in the first assembly of Nairobi.
"The Party has today designated Karen MCA Hon. David Njilithia Mberia as the new Minority Leader in the Nairobi County Assembly," the party said.
"In the last Assembly, he served as the Majority Whip. We wish Mr Mberia all the best in his new appointment #MbelePamoja.." It added.
The ODM MCAs played a key role in the reinstatement of Speaker Beatrice Elachi, who had been rejected by Jubilee members in the assembly.
Recently, Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko wrote to President Uhuru Kenyatta calling for help following endless chaos at City Hall.
