Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has for the first time revealed where he spent a night on Sunday after sneaking out of Royal Media Services' building in Nairobi.

The youthful MP was under police surveillance after being accused of inciting his constituents to disrupt a church service in Kiharu, which saw several rival Kieleweke team attending.

Speaking to the media on Monday, Nyoro confirmed that he slept at one of his constituent's home but refused to disclose the identity. He had travelled to Kiharu after the drama with police.

"People at grassroots have appreciated what they chose me to do in parliament. I will not disclose where I slept last night. However, I was hosted at one of my constituent's home in Kiharu. I really thank the people of Kiharu for their hospitality," he said.

The first term legislator accused Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang'i and PS Karanja Kibicho of allegedly using state resources to intimidate anti-handshake team.

His claims comes few hours after his Kandara counterpart Alice Wahome accused Dr Kibicho of allegedly plotting to assassinate Nyoro and her.

"I am aware of a meeting that took place some two weeks ago in Murang'a in a home of a businessman. There were several people including PS Interior Karanja Kibicho. The discussion was around how Nyoro and I could be finished.

"The reference was that H. E William Ruto has become strong politically in Murang'a. That he's having too many followers in Murang'a. They may have even discussed about other counties as well," she claimed.

Nominated MP Maina Kamanda accused Nyoro of disrupting the function, which President Uhuru Kenyatta had also sent his contributions.
