Narok Senator Ledama Olekina wants President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga to address issues on the ground in the second phase of the Building Bridges Initiative(BBI) and incorporate views from all generations in the establishment of the final report.
Speaking in an interview on Citizen Tv on Monday morning, Narok Senator Ledama Olekina has expressed the need to have Kenyans share their views and adding towards the formulation of the Building Bridges Initiative terming it as the only way for the handshake team to become realistic.
"Our President is a baby boomer & Raila Odinga a traditionalist; what ought to be done is be in touch with realities on the ground and become realistic and ensure phase 2 cuts across different generations," Olekina said.
The Senator asserted that the team should focus on addressing concerns of the Millenials as well as generation X among them "desperaties", economy and creation of employments adding that it through dealing with those issues that President Uhuru and Hon Raila will leave the Country in a better place.
"If they want to leave this country in a better place, they need to ensure the taskforce cuts across all different generations," Olekina posed.
