A video of Ugandan socialite cum business lady Zari Hassan explaining how her wedding with Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz was to go into history books has become a laughing stock.

In the video which was recorded sometime back when the couple were still an item, Zari in an interview revealed that they were being put under pressure to marry by their social media family.

The Boss Lady said they were then focusing on developments before they would consider a wedding. She used the opportunity to reveal how Diamond had acquired a house in South Africa, which he had paid by cash, as one of their projects.

She however said they were to have a dream wedding, that was to go into history books for being one of the biggest to have been held in East Africa.

"So many people are asking on Instagram mbona hamuoani? Is under pressure, I want to get married because I feel like we should..we are at a stage...kwanza we don't want a small wedding, our wedding should be one of the biggest in East Africa, meaning the budget has to be big. Saa hizi we are building ourselves, kwanza amenunua nyumba South Africa, cash," she said in a video shared by socialite Mange Kimambi

Unfortunately, Zari's expectations did not come true after the couple parted ways in last year on a Valentine's Day before the 'Kanyaga' hitmaker landed to a Kenyan media queen Tanasha Donna.

In recent week, Zari indicated that her coming wedding will only be private, with only family and few friends to be invited.

This clearly indicates the wedding might find it hard to make it into the history books. She said the wedding will be on Nelson Mandela Day, 18th July.

Tanzanians are now laughing at Zari for promising big wedding and finally end up with a private one, in what they are implying 'counting chickens before the hatch'.
