Speaking in Kalama on Saturday, Mutua said that the tycoon should stop using his money on expired politicians who will never clinch the presidency.

He also said that it was wrong for leaders who attended the Yatta meeting in Kalonzo home to be given money.

During the meeting before Christmas Day, the tycoon is said to have showered politicians who attended with cash.

"I saw you attended a certain meeting in Yatta and read in the media that you gave leaders who attended money. This means that if there was no money then they would not have attended the meeting," said Mutua at a funeral ceremony of his aunt, 94-year-old Monica Ndiku that was also attended by the tycoon.

"That's a lot of cash, next time you have such money come to me so that I can show you what to do with it. Sh50 million can do a lot. I welcome you so that we can talk and I will tell you why you should support me so that I can reign and stop forcing expired politicians for the top seat," he added.

Mutua who has declared that he will vie for the presidency in 2022 said that he was the only suitable leader who can lead the nation in the right direction.

He also noted that it was time for leaders to focus on what benefits common mwananchi and not cheap theatrics.
