Drama ensued at one of President John Pombe Magufuli's Monday functions after Bongo star Harmonize's performance was shortly interrupted.
Harmonize was among the invited artistes to entertain the audience before the President's speech.
However, there was a short drama after a man who seemed to be Harmonize's fan managed to by-pass the singer's bodyguards and made his way to the stage.
Upon joining the performing singer on stage, the man hugged the singer. He could, however, not let the 'Kwangwaru' hitmaker proceed with this special performance for the President.
Bodyguards were forced to swing into action and forcefully eject the man from stage before Harmonize peacefully proceeded with entertaining the audience.
Harmonize recently became one of the entrusted artistes by the Magufuli government when it comes to entertainment, especially after the singer converted his 'Kwangwaru' love song into a political song that praised Dr Magufuli. The song was dubbed 'Kwangwaru' remix.
This is not the first time the highly celebrated singer is performing in high flying state functions.
A few weeks ago, he performed for senior government officials and retired leaders who were in Tanzania for the 39th summit of Southern African Development Community (SADC).
