Writing on Twitter on Sunday, the lawyer wondered whether the Ugandan head of state was keen on interfering in the upcoming general elections and whether he had interfered before.

"Does Uganda President Yoweri Museveni want to interfere with our 2022 Elections? Did he interfere before? Why does he keep allocating same Makerere University land to Kenya Politicians? Before 2007 Elections same land was allocated to Mwai Kibaki Memorial Library, " the lawyer wrote on Twitter.

The Ugandan president hosted DP Ruto on Saturday, a meeting that has divided opinion.

Ruto descended on Uganda over the weekend to officially launch an institute at the Makerere University named after him, the William S. Ruto Institute of African Studies.

"Dr @WilliamsRuto is in the country to launch the William S. Ruto Institute of African Studies, whose goals among others will be; to establish an environment for flourishing study & debate on African languages, arts, philosophies, social and political systems, " Museveni wrote on Twitter of the high profile meeting.

Kenyan critics of Museveni see him as a dictator who has employed brutal tactics to cling onto power.
