Constituents of Kitutu Chache North have revealed the main reason why they will sack area MP Jimmy Nuru Angwenyi in 2022.
The angry electorates while speaking at Marani market on Wednesday accused the MP of sleeping on the job and claimed that none of the promises he promised during the 2017 elections has been fulfilled.
"The state of the market is poor, no security lights have been set up as he promised during the campaigns. He is camping in Nairobi while we are suffering in the constituency," said Martha Oswago, a trader.
Tronella Makori, an angry resident, said the MP is only spotted when DP Ruto visits Kisii County, not even the constituency, with the current one being during a fundraising function to support in building Seventh Day Adventist Church South Kenya Conference offices.
"We have been seeing him with DP Ruto anytime he visits Kisii county. He has neglected his duties and this is the main reason we will send him home. He will not be voted again, even if he bows down to beg," she said.
Jackton Oremo protested the MP's absence from the constituency arguing that the elderly people who voted for him are the most suffering people most.
According to Oremo, not even the elderly people will vote for MP Angwenyi because he has shown signs of being tired with work.
