Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi has hailed the relationship between President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition chief Raila Odinga.
Ahmednasir claims that Uhuru and his deputy William Ruto are no longer reading from the same script asking when Uhuru "will build bridges" with Ruto.
''H.E Uhuru must be COMMENDED for building bridge with Hon Raila & bringing him from the COLD. So when is Uhuru building bridge with his Deputy Ruto, end the palpable cold war he has with him? The discomfort, the unease, the total absence of communication btw Uhuru & Ruto is DANGEROUS (sic),'' tweeted Ahmednasir.
This is not the first time the issues are coming up, with a section of Jubilee politicians, among them former Kiambu boss William Kabogo, saying all is not rosy between the Jubilee duo.
"I have known both of them and I have known Raila. Right now their (Uhuru and Ruto) relationship is not a bed of roses. It's not as rosy as people would want to imagine because there is no way your boss would say this and you are saying anything against it. It's like challenging your boss," said Kabogo in April.
However, DP Ruto and Uhuru have both dismissed the assertions noting that they remain united.
On Wednesday during the launch of the BBI at the Bomas of Kenya in Lang'ata, Uhuru, Ruto and Raila in their address called for unity of purpose.
Ruto, in particular, asked politicians not to 'hijack' the BBI report to gain political mileage.
"We must be careful that this process is not hijacked by the political class and be made the project of sharing powers," stated the DP.
