Embakasi East Member of Parliament, Paul Ogili alias Babu Owino has 'endorsed' Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu popularly known as Bobi Wine for Uganda's presidential race.
The vocal youthful legislator took the message to his Facebook account where he stated that it will take whatever it takes for Bobi Wine to be the president, either through the ballot or the bullet as well as sending incumbent Museveni to prison.
"Bobi Wine Must Be the President of Uganda by Ballot or BULLET. Museveni to Prison, back to the Forest or to Hell," reads Babu Owino's post.
Babu Owino's sentiments came after the artist cum politician Bobi Wine, serving as the member of parliament representing Kyaddondo East constituency in Wakiso District, Uganda's Central Region on Wednesday in an event at capital Kampala declared his presidential bid ahead of Uganda's 2021 general elections.
Bobi Wine, known among Kenyans as both a politician as well as an artist came to Kenya last year October on invitation by Babu Owino where they discussed issues affecting the youth in East Africa.
Wine's popularity in Kenya also took the limelight after visiting Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni was 'mocked' by Kenyatta University students who chanted Bobi Wine slogans when the latter was addressing an event.
Bobi Wine's declaration to vie for presidency come 2021 is expected to give Museveni sleepless nights since the youthful politician is so determined to 'liberate' Uganda from Museveni's rule.
Despite being jailed and beaten up by police, Bobi Wine has conducted several protests to 'force out' Museveni from the top seat.
