Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Director of Communications Philip Etale on Tuesday revealed that the ailing National Super Alliance (NASA) Chief Executive Officer Norman Magaya is settled in India ready for treatment.
Etale pointed out that they are optimistic he will recover well.
He further asked netizens to stop giving false information about Magaya's health.
"Our brother Norman Magaya has settled in India in readiness for the specialized treatment that took him there. He is in high spirits and confident that he will come out strong and healthy. As we continue praying for his full recovery, online mercenaries should stop being insensitive and desist from posting untruths about his condition," said Etale in a post on Facebook.
It is the ODM party leader Raila Odinga, who last week ordered that the firebrand lawyer be taken to India for specialized treatment.
Magaya suffered a heart attack early this year. He has been on and off the hospital in a bid to regain his health.
Before being flown to India, his health deteriorated to the extent of being taken to an ICU at the Nairobi Hospital.
There has been claims from a section of leaders that NASA coalition and more so ODM leaders had neglected him.
