Speaking in Challa, Taveta sub-county on Monday, Mwashako asserted that the report didn't talk about any apparent way of investing in the young generation, pointing out that the BBI crew flinched the significant propositions.

"The report only talks of tax waiver for the youth but it lacks clear recommendations of empowering them to start businesses. If we're going to support the report, there must be some revisions," he said as quoted by the Star.

The MP also noted that if the report is executed, it will help counteract the solitary pledges by the Jubilee regime.

"Let us utilise this opportunity given to us by the principals. As the leadership of Taita Taveta county, we need to relook at the employment issues the Jubilee promised to deliver. It is time we use the report to restore the trust in our youth by creating jobs for them," he posed.

Among other leaders present were Taita Taveta Governor Granton Samboja and Senator Jones Mwaruma who termed the BBI as an antidote to the increased unemployment percentage among youths in the nation.
