In May this year, Odinga was pictured at the hospital with Mr Magaya, who suffered a heart attack early this year and he's yet to fully recover.

Mr Odinga was pictured with Mathare MP Antony Oluoch at the facility with Magaya seemingly still being in a bad condition amid claims that he might have been poisoned.

The trip came just a day after a top aide to Suna East MP Junet Mohamed, Mr Seth Odongo, accused ODM officials of abandoning Magaya despite an order from Odinga to have his bills paid.

Mr Odongo alias Dikembe Disembe, called at Executive Director Oduor Ong'wen over the matter, claiming that he was an impedance to smooth operations in the party.

"Some people were saying Mr Kawino (Finance Director) is the problem, or Charles Memba (Accountant); but I reject these insinuations. If the party leader made a pronouncement on Magaya, it is the ED to effect it. If not, that matter goes to the SG," he claimed.

But moments later, in a tweet, Magaya seemed to distance himself from the allegations, arguing that both ODM and NASA leadership have been supportive.

"I have had a recurrent heart condition for the past four months and been admitted in hospital on three occasions latest being last week .On all occasions both the coalition leadership and the @TheODMparty have stood with me," he said.

In a statement, the ODM party confirmed Magaya's condition and insisted that it will continue assisting him until he recovers fully from the hospital.

"The ODM Party is aware that Nasa CEO Norman Magaya has been unwell. We continue to support him in every possible way and wish him quick recovery. Every request for support has been dealt with as and when received by the party," read the tweet from the party.

It's not clear whether Mr Odinga was making a follow up over the alleged abandonment of Mr Magaya or it was a normal visit to the hospital.
