Nyeri Town Member of Parliament Ngunjiri Wambugu has hit out at his Kapseret counterpart Oscar Sudi following his recent attacks targeted at President Uhuru Kenyatta.
In a post on his official Facebook page, Wambugu reminded Sudi, a key ally of Deputy President William Ruto that many still remember what happened in the country after the disputed 2007 general elections.
The vocal MP further noted that it was President Uhuru Kenyatta who convinced the Mt. Kenya region to trust DP Ruto.
"#SomeoneTellSudiKipchumba that we still remember what happened in 2007 between the Kikuyu and the Kalenjin. We remember who did what, when, and to who," reads part of Wamugu's post
"....that after 2007, it was only Uhuru who had the capacity to convince Mt Kenya that it was possible to trust Ruto...That outside Uhuru Mt Kenya would not touch Ruto, even with a 10-ft pole," adds the MP in the post.
Sudi has been engaging President Uhuru Kenyatta over the current fight against graft and recently accused him of using the fight to target the Kalenjin community.
This follows graft allegations that have hit multi-billion Arror and Kimwarer dams in Elgeyo Marakwet county.
