Speaking in an interview on NTV, Mukhisa held the view that the government should go beyond apprehending and charging people, and that he wants those unlawful arrested.
He said those that have been past involved in theft should be restricted from holding public offices, as the only way to streamline the leadership of our country.
"Govt should go beyond arresting and charging people, we want criminals jailed", Mukhisa Kituyi said as quoted in a tweet by Ntv.He also added that at past Kenya had a very mature accountability mechanism, but, this has long gone him seeing public finances treated like personal resources. Blowing up on corruption, Mukhisa said that when he retires from the UN job and become a free citizen of Kenya who'll be able to audibly talk his opinion, he will join a large number of Kenyans who will have a stand to defend the country from criminals saying enough is enough to cartels."When I leave the UN and become a free citizen, I will dedicate the rest of my life in helping to prove Kenya has enough citizens who can never be held hostage by thieves forever, "Mukhisa told NTV.
In conclusion, Mukhisa said, he put his trust on president Uhuru Kenyatta in his battle towards corruption but, what he wants to see are the end results.
