Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has hit back at Mombasa governor Hassan Joho maintaining that he is involved in drug trafficking.
This is after the vocal county boss demanded an apology from the MP after linking him to the illegal drugs business.
In a post on his official Facebook page on Sunday, Sudi asked Joho to first apologize to Kenyans for ruining lives of many youths through the supply of drugs in the country.
According to the Jubilee MP, Joho should come clear over drug trafficking claims.
"As a youthful leader, I cannot allow someone to ruin the lives of our innocent youths, that of our children and the coming generations. I will always be steadfast in the fight against illicit drugs. The time where impunity was being tolerated is long gone. The government should promptly crack the whip in fighting illegal drug cartels," Sudi noted
With Joho seeking an apology from North Rift politicians who have linked him to drugs, the MP who is a close ally of Deputy President William Ruto said they will seek to discuss, a fresh, a report by the then Internal Affairs Minister the late Prof. George Saitoti where the Mombasa governor was adversely mentioned.
"In fact, we are currently considering to revive the Saitoti report for it to be discussed in the floor of the house. Members of Parliament will recommend how the report shall be implemented for Kenyans to get the Justice they deserve," reads part of Sudi's Facebook post.
