It has been said that the surest way to know your true friends is when one is at a fix. Those who remain by your side definitely qualify to be called true friends. On the contrary, those who surface moments later to give explanations are nothing but fake.
For Deputy President William Ruto, two politicians in the ruling Jubilee are apparently proving to be his genuine political allies.
These are;
1. Kimani Ngunjiri
The Bahati legislator is on record vowing to unconditionally support and stick to DP Ruto as he goes for his top dream of succeeding Uhuru come 2022. To affirm his support, Ngunjiri has been criticizing the handshake claiming it was sidelining Ruto.
2. Ferdinand Waititu
The Kiambu governor is one of the fiercest supporters of DP Ruto. Even when President Uhuru Kenyatta directed that politicians stop premature 2022 presidential campaigns, Waititu has remained adamant, vowing to campaign for Ruto as the best-placed candidate to lead the country come to the next general elections.
Besides the duo, several other politicians have silently been campaigning for Ruto but not as vocal as they do. Waititu and Kimani Ngunjiri are, similarly, opposed to team 'Kitaeleweka' which has lately become a threat to the DP's politics.
