Starehe Member of Parliament Charles Njagua popularly known as Jaguar has warned Kenyans of a scam which is using his name.
Jaguar on Thursday shared a screenshot of a sponsored advert on Facebook by the name 'Jaguar Loan App'.
The fake loan app which seeks to lend cash has also used the MP cum artist's photo. He has since urged Kenyans not to fall to the trap of unscrupulous people.
"Kenyans don't get duped...It would be so sad to loose your money to unscruplous people (sic)," Jaguar's Facebook post read.
According to the screenshot he shared, the impostors claimed the legislator would give out Sh5,000 to anyone who downloaded the application.
This comes days after detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) arrested a man who was conning unsuspecting members of the public in the name of Majority Leader Aden Duale.
The suspected con who has been identified as James Ombui Oire ran a fake Facebook page that impersonated Duale.
He was asking unsuspecting Kenyans a registration fee of Sh2,000 in a bid to secure scholarships for students across the country.
