A school in Nakuru has taken action on its driver after complaints were raised.
This writer reported complaints from a section of residents after they accused Mizpah Academy driver of recklessly driving the school bus risking the lives of pupils on board.
According to the school director, they took action on the driver and have since solved the issue.
“We appreciate you brought the matter to our attention. We have summoned the driver and solved the matter. We are now good,” the director said.
One parent, Moses Mwathi, had called for action on the driver.
“Can the Mizpah school administration in Bahati ward Nakuru caution their driver who picks children in the morning to drive carefully and slowly to avoid accidents that can happen (sic),” Mwathi said.
Mizpah Academy director assured parents that such a scenario will not occur again.
“I can assure you it will not occur. But don’t rush to publish a story like that next time, just reach us first,” he said.
