The newly appointed Managing Director of Kenya Ports Authority Dr. Arch. Daniel Manduku on Tuesday held a meeting with Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho at the governor's office.
"We had a productive engagement and discussed key measures on improving our working relationship especially on tapping into the blue economy and infrastructure development in Mombasa," disclosed Joho.
He said KPA remains a critical partner in Mombasa County adding that his administration will keep working in partnership with the authority for the betterment of Mombasa people.
On November 30, 2018 Transport, Infrastructure, Housing, Urban Development and Public Works Cabinet Secretary Dr James Macharia confirmed Dr. Manduku to the position of Managing Director (MD) of the Kenya Ports Authority (KPA).

Manduku who was appointed KPA acting MD about six months ago, officially replaced Catherine Mturi-Wairi who was suspended by the KPA Board after her appointment on July 2016.
