Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi on Thursday led Senate Committee on Roads and Transport to Kenya Ferry Services (KFS).
Through a tweet, KFS announced the welcoming of the visitors but could not immediately reveal why they had visited.

KFS has in the past few weeks been on the limelight after a tragic accident that claimed two lives of family members.
On September 28, a car slid from MV Harambee ferry which was moving from Likoni mainland to Mombasa Island and plunged into the Indian Ocean.
The car's occupants, a mother Mariam Kighenda and her daughter Amanda Mutheu perished in the accident. heir bodies.
