Wife to controversial Uasin Gishu farmer who is also a veteran politician Jackson Kibor has finally opened up after an Eldoret court dissolved their over 43-year-old marriage.
The wife, Naomi Jeptoo now says Kibor, 85, has a problem.
Speaking moments after the court allowed Mzee Kibor his request to divorce her, Jeptoo who seemed not tormented by the decision said his husband needed prayers.
He further dismissed Kibor's allegations that led to divorce as pure lies.
"There is something wrong with my husband since it’s not the first time to have done this, he needs the intervention of prayers for us to reconcile with him and the children," said Jeptoo.
An Eldoret Magistrate's court on Tuesday allowed Kibor to divorce Jeptoo who is his third wife, and whom they have six children.
In the case he filed in February this year, Kibor had accused the wife of desertion and cruelty.
This is the second time he is divorcing after he was allowed to end his 52-year-old marriage with the second wife, Josephine Jepkoech last year over similar grounds.
"I am happy today the court has granted me another divorce from my wife who has been extremely hostile and intolerant, causing me serious psychological suffering," Kibor told journalists.
He also expressed hopes that he will now regain his lost weigh after the divorce.
