She also emphasised on focusing on development-based politics that concentrate on the needs of the people of Malindi.

Citing Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho, Jumwa urged all leaders fighting her to put politics aside and deliver the pledges they gave to their people.

The lawmaker had accused Joho, who is ODM deputy party leader of orchestrating her proposed expulsion from the Raila Odinga-led party over her political association with Deputy President William Ruto.

She slammed Joho, saying she respects him but can not fear him under whatever circumstances.

"Hassan Joho I don't fear you. I only fear God. I don't fear you but I respect you," she said on January 2."Everything you're doing in ODM, I know. I get every detail of what you do or say in ODM," she added.

According to Jumwa, Joho should first engage the Coastal people in his bid for presidency before going at the national level, something the lawmaker said Joho is yet to do.
